Episode 31 - "Romancing the Stone"

New guest Nathan joins to discuss Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner, and Danny Devito in this classic romance-action-comedy from 1984. Also to talk about boy bands, painting pigeons, children kidnappers, and prison wallets. The audio is a bit off at the beginning but is fixed pretty quickly.

Episode 30 - "Oliver & Company"

Our first cartoon! The Disney classic(?) staring famous actor (?!?) Billy Joel. We discuss everything from Ralph Bakshi, to our very own and disturbing porn channel, to wild dogs roaming the streets of Russia. It get's weird.

Episode 29 - "Beetlejuice"

We too are strange and unusual. This week we talk small town bars, hot topic trends, and afterlife bureaucracy as we discuss the Tim Burton classic staring Michael Keaton, Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, and goth teen icon Winona Ryder. We also pitch the best possible Beetlejuice 2.

Episode 28 - "Ruthless People"

We rant about Alan Moore, politics, and suicide in this fun drunk episode. We also might actually talk about the 1986 comedy classic starring Danny DeVito and Bette Midler from comedy legends Zucker, Abrahams, and Zucker.

Episode 27 - "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation"

We get good and drunk and try and come to terms with our own family baggage...errr...I mean we tell jokes and review the Chevy Chase comedy classic...yeah definitely the last part.

Episode 26 - "Turner & Hooch"

We review this classic Tom Hanks family film by discussing Hooch as a metaphor for his manhood, the fact that Hanks is constantly rocking a banana hammock, and the very real possibility that Turner is gay. We're joined by Ema and new guest Erica who do their best to make things dirtier.

Episode 25 - "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"

We're back with our third John Hughes affair. This time we review an all time classic staring Matthew Broderick...or do we? Maybe we don't even exist and this whole podcast is just in your head, a creation of your mind in order to get through your suicidal depression.

Episode 24 - "Born on the Forth of July"

Y'all know that the Vietnam War was a pretty big deal? We actually have to get a little serious for Tom Cruise's 2nd appearance on the list. We manage a few jokes though so listen already won't you?

Episode 23 - "Splash"

Tom Hanks and Daryl Hannah star in this super romantic movie about a sex slave showing up when you need it most. We're joined by Ema and a new guest to talk about panties, PG nipples, and New York testing people for monkey in you.

Episode 22 - "Private Benjamin"

This episode we review Goldie Hawn's most successful movie. We don't really like it but we get drunk enough to some how talk about it for over an hour.

Episode 21 - "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas"

It's the orgy episode! Things get wild as we have 3 (THREE!) special guests to talk about Dolly Parton and Burt Reynolds in the biggest musical of the 80s.

Episode 20 - "Octopussy"

James Bond returns in out longest (perhaps best) episode yet. Along with reviewing this fun movie we also teach you how Jesus invented the American dollar and we pitch Paul Blart 3: Thundercats.

Episode 10 - "Field of Dreams"

Just realized that I never posted this one which is too bad because it's a good one.

Kevin Costner uses baseball to deal with his daddy issues. Meanwhile we use Star Wars to deal with our no sex robot issues.

Episode 19 - "Sudden Impact"

After a week off to hang out with nerds, celebrities, and nerdy celebrities we return with the Dirty Harry film "Sudden Impact" staring and directed by noted curmudgeon Clint Eastwood. Sooooo many people get shot.

Episode 18 - "The Secret of My Succe$s"

Michael J. Fox and the original Supergirl Helen Slater learn about love and business. Meanwhile we teach you about what to do in prison, the power of montages, and the importance of Saturday morning cartoons.

Episode 17 - "Uncle Buck"

This episode we discuss the classic John Candy / John Hughes jam "Uncle Buck". We mainly talk about how much we like it until near the end when we get super sacrilegious talking about Jesus and prostitutes and whatnot. You know, the usual.

Episode 16 - "Smokey and the Bandit Part II"

In which we talk about how awesome Burt Reynolds is, share our truck driver dreams, and pitch the best Rom-Com of all time - which may or may not, but definitely does, tie in to "The Fast and Furious".

Episode 15 - "Stakeout"

In today's episode Richard Dreyfuss is between 5'2" and 5'11" depending on obvious movie magic and Emilio Estevez has a mustache. We also talk about sayings from the 1920s while discussing the least super of super cops in 1987's "Stakeout".

Episode 14 - "Jewel of the Nile"

The power trio of Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner, and Danny Devito reunite in "Jewel of the Nile" from 1985. Meanwhile the power duo of E.G. and Francisco reunite to to talk about oral sex and Teddy Ruxpin... not at the same time although now that I think about it we definitely should have.

Episode 13 - "Witness"

In this episode we make up Viggo Mortensen fan-fiction and speculate wildly on the Amish lifestyle as we discuss 1985's "Witness" starring Harrison Ford.

Episode 12 - "Lethal Weapon"

The buddy cop film that all other buddy cop films wish they were. A mustachioed gentlemen who is of an age too advanced for such things and a suicidal mad man who just needs a friend team up to shoot and punch things. Mel Gibson and Danny Glover star in Lethal Weapon. Spoiler alert, we like it, but we're still going to make jokes.

Episode 11 - "Mr. Mom"

Special guest Ema joins us to discuss the Michael Keaton comedy classic "Mr. Mom". We a lot of time talking about Keaton's reproductive organ and making sexist jokes but what do you expect? Also it's John Hughes first appearance on the countdown but it won't be his last.

Episode 9 - "Working Girl"

One part con movie, one part Rom-Com, all terrible, terrible hair, makeup and fashion. Harrison Ford saves "Working Girl" by being so dang charming.......he's dreamy....err...anyways podcast.

Episode 8 - "Dirty Dancing"

We're back with more dancing in a legitimate classic...that we don't really like. Secrets are revealed, bridges are burned, and ice in whiskey glasses are clinked. We discuss "Dirty Dancing" starring Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze.
